Limnio is the winery’s flagship wine. It has a bright ruby colour. Aromatically, it gives off a blend of red and black fruits on the nose such as blackcurrant and cherry, accompanied by light notes of vanilla, herbs, spicy roses and tea leaves. The palate is lively, multi-layered with an impetuous acidity, coated by flavours of iced strawberries and mint. Tannins are present but polished just enough to carry its structure leaving a lingering aftertaste. A wine to cellar or appreciate within its youth after a short decanting.

From Aslanis family Winery:

Aslanis Winery is a true family business: each member of the family has their own role, from production to marketing and accounting.

The estate’s vineyards, grown organically, are spread over a beautiful coastal plot of land, Néa Michaniona, popular for its fish market and the unique Natura salt-lake site. Facing mount Olympus and almost surrounded by the Thermaic Gulf Sea, the Aslanis non-irrigated vines are cultivated in the PGI Macedonia zone (established in 1989) making the most of the sea breezes.

The white grape varieties are grown in sandy-limestone soils while the red varieties in clay, limestone and flint soils.

Aslanis pure and authentic wines fully express their terroir with the lowest intervention possible.
