Information from the producer:

 

For TRATA sardines , we choose only freshly caught fish, which after being carefully cleaned, checked and placed in cans, are steamed slightly, in order to keep the flesh tender and fluffy, as well as their nutrients. At the end, add tomato sauce lightly flavored with onion and garlic, giving the whole a special Mediterranean flavor.

For TRATA sardines we use only the species Sardina Pilchardus, which is the only species that has the right to be classified as "sardine" and not "sardine type". Our sardines are caught mainly in the waters of the North Aegean. The conditions and the biodiversity of its natural living and eating environment justify its quality superiority, which consists in its light-colored, fluffy and tasty flesh without scales.
